Meet Our Team

 

Jessica Bloomfield, Psy.D.

Dr. Bloomfield (she/her/hers) earned her master’s and doctorate from the University of Denver. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a postdoctoral fellowship with Southeast Psych, also in Charlotte. In addition to being licensed in Colorado, Dr. Bloomfield participates in PsyPact, allowing her to see clients in most states via telehealth.

Dr. Bloomfield sees ages 10 through adulthood and uses an eclectic approach to treatment, tailoring the intervention to the needs and wants of each client. She is collaborative and empowers clients and caregivers to develop and utilize their strengths while creating a space to share and work through painful emotions and issues in their lives. She is additionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment for Insomnia (CBTI).

In her spare time, Dr. Bloomfield can be found looking for any excuse to be in the woods, with trail running, hiking, and camping being top contenders.  She also loves reading fiction, and savors time at home with her husband and two young kids.

Clinical Rate: $225 per 50 minute therapy session

 

Steph Bono, Psy.D.

Dr. Bono (she/her/hers) earned her master’s and doctorate from the University of Denver. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Mental Health Center of Denver where she provided psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and crisis services.

Dr. Bono sees clients ages six through adulthood. Her approach to therapy and psychological assessment is guided by each client’s unique strengths, goals, and values. Her integrative/eclectic therapeutic approach often involves Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Outside of work, Dr. Bono/Steph is usually hanging out with her dog Pico, working on her latest art project, or caring for her houseplants. You might see some of her plants in our office waiting room.

Vera Bublitz, Psy.D.

Dr. Bublitz (she/her/hers) earned her master’s and doctorate from the University of Denver. She completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan, and her postdoctoral fellowship at EDCare Denver’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Dr. Bublitz currently works full-time as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan, and she sees clients part-time in private practice at Bloomfield Psychology. 

Dr. Bublitz sees clients ages 12 through adulthood and seeks to provide her clients with high-quality, individualized and trauma-informed care. She specializes in eating disorders, trauma, and anxiety disorders, and uses a compassionate, strengths-based and integrative approach to therapy, She often draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). 

In her free time, Dr. Bublitz loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and pug. Some of her other favorite things include hiking, camping, fly fishing, and baking (she even baked her twin sister’s wedding cake).

Phebe Davis, MA, LPCC, NCC

Phebe (she/her/hers) earned her master’s degree from the CACREP-accredited clinical mental health counseling program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She completed her clinical internships at Southeast Psych and Atrium Health’s Employee Assistance Program, both in Charlotte, NC.

Phebe works with kids, t(w)eens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life adjustments/transitions (relationships, career/work, school), identity/self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ issues, and self-harm. She prioritizes meeting every client and family where they are in order to formulate an individualized treatment plan that works best for the client. Phebe is trained through an eclectic array of therapeutic modalities, often working through a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) lens or Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) with younger clients. Phebe enjoys genuinely connecting with her clients and their families by leaning on client strengths, values, and the authenticity of the therapeutic relationship. Life can be really messy, and Phebe is honored to join her clients in that vulnerable space.

Phebe enjoys puzzling, reading, playing cards, and hanging out with her friends at the park. On the other hand, one of her guilty pleasures is watching reality TV dating shows.
